We fell in love with the charming village of Lastingham
three years ago. Having looked at the house, we went into the local pub the
Blacksmith’s Arms where Hills and Pete made us feel so welcome as they do all our
guests. The food is also of a very high quality with lots of it to be had, you will
be eager for a walk in the morning! A take away service is also available.
This
area is absolutely perfect for visiting the local areas of interest such as Castle
Howard and Riveaux Abbey or exploring coastal villages such as Whitby, Sands End,
Scarborough or Robins Hood Bay.
York
is a mere 40 minutes away with plenty to see and do.
Or
Perhaps a trip on the Steam Railway from Pickering to Whitby will entice you.
